The DMs screen is split into two panes. On the left, the conversation list: every DM thread your team has, newest activity at the top. On the right, the thread view for whichever conversation you've selected. New messages and AI drafts arrive in real time, no refresh needed.
Status tabs
Above the list are five tabs that filter by what the conversation needs from you:
- All — every conversation, regardless of state.
- Drafts ready — the AI has prepared a draft and is waiting for you to review and send.
- Waiting for reply — the user sent something, the AI has not drafted yet (or the draft was rejected). These usually fill in within a few seconds.
- Handed off — a teammate has taken over manually. AI drafting is paused on these threads.
- Window closing — the 24-hour reply window is about to expire or already has. Triage these first.
Each tab shows a live count of how many conversations match. An empty tab fades to a muted color so you can scan it at a glance.
Searching by name
The search box at the top of the list filters conversations by the sender's name or by text in their most recent message. It's case-insensitive and matches anywhere in the field.
Reading a conversation row
Each row in the list shows:
- The sender's name and the platform (Messenger DM or Instagram DM).
- A two-line preview of the most recent message.
- The time the user last sent a message ("3 minutes ago", "2 hours ago").
Small icons on the bottom-left of the row encode state:
- Sparkle icon (primary color) — an AI draft is ready to review.
- User-check icon — a human has taken over this conversation. The AI is paused.
- Clock icon (amber) — the 24-hour reply window is closing soon.
- Clock icon (red) — the reply window has closed.
The colored stripe on the very left edge of each row mirrors the same state, in case you prefer scanning that way.
Empty states
- No conversations yet: "No DMs yet. Inbound Messenger and Instagram messages will land here as they arrive."
- Empty filter: "No conversations in this view. See all" — clicking the link resets the filter.
Selecting a conversation
Click any row to load the full thread on the right. The selected row gets a primary tint and a left-edge highlight. The thread view scrolls to the newest message automatically.
